French legend shoe designer Christian Louboutin's 30 year career review Exhibition "The Exhibitionist" opened in Paris, France (Palais de la Porte Dor E) in February 25th. The exhibition time is from July 26th to July 26th.
  "High heels can liberate women".
Although luxury brands like Maria Grazia Chiuri, a feminist designer, are no longer in favor of high-heeled shoes, and some feminists believe that too high heeled shoes are a manifestation of sexual slavery, Christian Louboutin insists that wearing high-heeled shoes is a form of "self-made". High-heeled shoes can liberate women and let women express themselves and break the rules. "Grazia" is a kind of "self-made form".
"Women do not want to give up wearing high heels," he told Agence France-Presse in an interview before the opening of the exhibition. Pointing to a pair of super high heeled LACE BOOTS called Corset D Amour, he said, "people projected themselves and their stories into my shoes."
Christian Louboutin also produces sneakers and shoes, but he admits: "I don't consider comfort when designing. No pair of shoes with a height of 12 cm is comfortable. But people will not come to me to buy a pair of slippers.
This does not mean wearing high heels all the time. He said, "if you want, women have the freedom to enjoy femininity. Why do you give up high heels when you can have high heels and flat shoes at the same time? I don't want people to look at my shoes and say, "they look really comfortable!" I wish people would say, "Wow, they are beautiful!"
He also said that even if women can only limp in his high-heeled shoes, it is not a bad thing. He said, if a pair of shoes can "stop you running", it is also "very positive".
  Return to the art exhibition
This exhibition will display some personal collections of Christian Louboutin and some works borrowed from public collections, as well as his legendary red shoes. There are many kinds of shoes on display, some of which have never been published. The exhibition will highlight some of his exclusive cooperation, such as painted glass made in collaboration with Maison Du Vitrail, Seville Style Silver sedan chair crafts, and famous director and photographer David Lynch (David Lynch), New Zealand multimedia artist Lisa Reihana, British designer Whitaker Malem, Spanish Dance guide Blanca Li and Pakistan artist Blanca. Qureshi's cooperation project.
It is no coincidence to hold exhibitions at the gilded Gate Palace. This is a special place for Christian Louboutin. He grew up in the 12 district of Paris near the palace of gilded palace, which fascinated him and became one of his artistic enlightenment. The Maquereau shoes designed by Christian Louboutin are inspired by the Tropical Aquarium of gilded Gate Palace (above).
Christian Louboutin revealed that his fascination with high-heeled shoes began when he was 10 years old. At that time, he saw the sign of "prohibiting wearing high heels" in Paris's Gilded palace. Inspired by this, he later designed the classic Pigalle shoes. He said, "it is precisely because of that sign that I began to paint them. I don't think it's meaningless to wear high heels. There are even metaphors of mystique and fetishism. The sketch of high heels is often associated with sexuality.
He is also committed to integrating shoes and legs, designing shoes that are suitable for all kinds of skin and legs, and call them "Les Nudes". Christian Louboutin's shoes are now very iconic. His name has become a synonym for luxury and sexy, appearing in rap songs, movies and books. He said with pride, "I am very happy that popular culture is uncontrollable."
Christian Louboutin was born in Paris, France in 1963, and began drawing shoes from childhood. At the age of 12, he was an apprentice at Folies Berg re in the concert hall, and the idea was to design dance shoes for dance dancers on the stage. In 1982, when Louboutin was recommended by Christian Dior creative director Helene de Mortemart, he entered the French shoe designer Charles Jourdan, the same name brand, and then served as assistant to the "high heeled shoe" originator Roger Vivier, and successively designed shoes for the brand of Chanel, Vivier, and so on.
In 1990s, Princess Caroline of Monaco in Monaco fell in love with his first personal work, which made Christian Louboutin a household name. (Caroline) Christian Louboutin, famous for its red shoes, has made high-heeled shoes popular again in the 90s and 2000 of last century.
