On November 21st, relevant media learned that the China Consumer Association today released the "double 11" consumer rights and public opinion analysis report (hereinafter referred to as: report). The report shows that during the monitoring period of a total of 15 days from November 1st to November 15th, 7908929 pairs of information on "double 11" related consumer rights protection were collected.

Among them, there are 655376 negative information and 43692 daily negative information. During the whole monitoring period, negative information showed a "inverted V" shape, and the volume of information increased sharply in November 11th, reaching 132928 peaks in November 12th. In the information dissemination channel, the "double 11" negative information dissemination takes micro-blog as the main channel, and the amount of information is 492482, accounting for 75.14%.

The report points out that during the monitoring period, there are more information about the following aspects: express delivery, after sales service, pre-sale rules, promotion and publicity, product quality, price and information harassment. Among them, there were more than 100 thousand negative information on express delivery, after sale service, pre-sale rules and promotion and publicity, which were 196872, 167288, 156000 and 137940, respectively, with 56872 negative information on product quality, 42550 negative information on price and 19332 19332 cases of information harassment negative information.

According to the report, the "barbarian growth" and the relatively low sense of responsibility of platform are the main contradictions that lead to the "double 11" online consumption rights and public opinion.

In this regard, the China Consumer Association has proposed to strengthen the censorship and supervision of the live webpage, and improve the integrity evaluation mechanism of "net red with goods". The China Consumer Association said that a sound regulatory mechanism should not only attach importance to "law network", but also be good at "network governance". Through information sharing and multiple measures, we should strengthen the management and supervision of the behavior of "net red with goods" and discover problems such as data falsification, false propaganda, disqualification, and timely intervention.
