Li Lingshen said that the development of the domestic nonwovens industry was mainly due to the expansion of the domestic demand market brought by the rapid economic growth in China, the endogenous driving force brought by scientific and technological progress and professional talents, and the solid guarantee provided by China's chemical fiber and textile machinery industry, benefiting from the worldwide industrial chain cooperation brought about by globalization.

The domestic nonwovens industry has learned advanced technology and management experience from abroad, and its innovation ability has been significantly enhanced. The non-woven fabrics and products made in China are also sold around the world with good quality and cost advantages.

At the same time, MNCs have obvious advantages in technology, management and market. They fully benefit from China's factor resources and enjoy huge dividends from China's development.

According to incomplete statistics, by the end of 2017, 13 of the top 20 non-woven enterprises in the world had 13 factories in China, and the output of these 13 enterprises in China exceeded 300 thousand tons. In 2017, 6 foreign-funded enterprises exported non-woven fabrics in China amounting to 236 million US dollars, accounting for 9.05% of China's current export volume. In 2017, China also imported nearly 900 million dollars of non-woven fabrics from Japan, the United States and Germany and other developed countries.

Li Lingshen suggested that at present, the domestic nonwovens industry is at a critical stage of structural upgrading. We should seize all opportunities for rapid development, actively push forward the supply side reform, persist in innovating and leading, optimizing the industrial structure, strengthening the integration of production and demand, and upgrading the industry to the middle and high end through improving quality and efficiency.

Relevant institutions and enterprises should vigorously promote the application of natural fibers, bio based fibers and recycled fibers, explore the degradation technology of disposable sanitary products, medical textiles and the recycling and utilization of waste high temperature filter belts; strengthen the development and application of key technologies and key products through innovative alliances, encourage enterprises to build intelligent production lines and intelligent factories for non-woven fabrics, and create conditions for qualified Chinese enterprises to "go out" to invest abroad.

Michael Janecke said in her speech that CINTE has been committed to building an open and fair exchange platform for the global industrial textile enterprises.

He said that due to the continuous emergence of new capacity and the continuous penetration of production capacity in the global market, the North American nonwoven industry grew strongly, and the average annual growth rate of Nonwovens in North America from 2012 to 2017 exceeded 3.7%. The average annual growth rate of ~2022 in 2018 is expected to remain at 3.6%.

North America Nonwovens Technology has also achieved diversified development in recent years. In 2016, ~2018 added 61 new growth lines in North America, including needling, thermal bonding, spunbonded, wet, spunlacing and other processes, involving filtration, pportation, absorbent sanitary materials, and wiping.

At the same time, the demand scale and the growth rate of the terminal area are also increasing, especially the industrial textiles for absorbing sanitary materials and vehicles. The market demand will remain high in the future.

In terms of absorbent materials, the driving factors for the rapid development of nonwoven materials in North America include two aspects: first, economic growth and population changes; two, the good convenience of nonwovens, the continuous improvement of life expectancy, technological innovation, and the acceptance of incontinence products by consumers, all contribute to the development of this product.

But David also admitted that although the overall development of the North American nonwovens is good, the industry still faces two major development problems, such as the development of disable products and the pollution problem of disposable products, which should attract the attention of the industry.

Zhang Chuanxiong, Secretary General of China Industrial Textiles Industry Association, introduced the development status of the domestic nonwoven industry.

He said that China is the largest nonwoven producer, consumer and exporter in the world.

At present, the international environment is complex and changeable, but the domestic market of nonwovens has been developing steadily.

In the past 5 years, the proportion of nonwovens domestic demand market has remained at around 85%, which has always been the leading force supporting the sustained and healthy development of the nonwoven industry.

From the field of application of nonwovens, disposable sanitary materials such as diapers, adult incontinence products and women's hygiene products are the main application market of domestic nonwovens, and will continue to maintain two digit growth in the future. Filtration, geotechnical engineering, building materials and packaging materials will maintain the growth rate of 6%~7%, and wipe products will also achieve rapid development.

With the irreplaceable advantages of nonwoven materials, the application field has extended to all walks of life, changing the way of life and production of residents. Domestic enterprises should speed up the pace of structural adjustment and upgrading, and develop more diversified products to meet the needs of terminals.

In recent years, technological innovation in the domestic nonwoven industry has made significant progress: the development of 4.2 m ssmms spinning melting line, 8.5 m wide and high strength geotextile production line, polypropylene spunbonded filament needle punched geotextile, two-component spunbonded nonwoven, spun laced nonwovens, nanofiber nonwovens, and elastic nonwovens materials has driven some of the nonwovens production technology into the leading position in the world.

Turning to the future development of the industry, Zhang Chuanxiong said that the future development of the domestic nonwovens industry will focus on 4 aspects: technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, responsible manufacturing and pnational layout. The industry and enterprises should take the terminal demand as the guide and establish a healthy and new industry pattern and supply chain system as soon as possible.

At the same time, in a relatively tight international environment, the strategic layout of enterprises is to stabilize confidence, adhere to the optimization of product mix, co-ordinate the two domestic and international markets and maintain good customer relations.

Marines Lagemaat, the technology director of the European nonwovens Association, analyzed the management experience of ENADA nonwovens products.

He said product management is an integral part of achieving the life cycle of environment-friendly products. Responsibilities shared between producers, suppliers and users, and sustainable dialogue and working relationships across supply chains help companies and their partners meet product safety and environmental sustainability requirements.

Product management includes regulatory supervision, sustainable challenges, technical standards, market pressure, consumer demand and technological innovation.

Taking technical standards as an example, ENADA and INDA have published a number of non-woven standards in the past few years. They are commonly used in global language standards for testing nonwovens and can be used in nonwoven fabrics, some raw materials and terminal products. These standards are of great importance in dealing with safety, regulatory concerns and improving alternative methods.

Marines Lagemaat said that for the management of nonwoven products, the industry organizations should pay close attention to the complexity growth of the global law and order system, reduce the excessive attention of the media, and voluntarily guide the effective dialogue between the supply chains, so as to help establish the appropriate contractual relationship between enterprises.

Chen Jiarong, director of the investment and co-ordination Bureau of Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, introduced the industrial development of the "China Medical and nonwoven products demonstration base".

The demonstration base of China's medical and nonwoven products was established in 2014, with a total planning area of about 5000 mu, divided into A and B two districts.

According to the idea of "health care core, daily life heavy industry and industrial use as supplement", the three level structure of high-end medical and health materials, "global first, Asia first and top ten", is set up to lay the leading position in the high-end medical and nonwoven products industry.

Now there are more than 10 key enterprises in the whole industry chain including coil, bottom film and sanitary products. The annual output value is expected to be no less than 2 billion yuan.

Chen Jiarong said that in the future, China's medical and non-woven products demonstration base will fully rely on leading edge of Dongli, Berri and other leading new materials in R & D and production, and actively cultivate environmental protection and new cutting-edge new materials projects, and gradually form a cutting-edge new material industry cluster with high-end medical and nonwoven products.

CEO Pascal Denizart, the European textile Innovation Center, introduced the technical innovation and application development of nonwovens.

He said that the future development trend of Nonwovens Materials is mainly the use of multi component structure, the use of recycled and bio based materials; fiber and foam insulation materials made from recycled materials; filter materials for blood cell filtration; breathable waterproof breathable membranes; 3D nonwovens; new natural fiber sources (pineapple fiber, rice); more economical and environmentally friendly liquid filtration media; Gao Pengsong nonwovens; eco antibacterial textile materials; thermoplastic polyurethane based nonwovens; waterproofing and oil repellent nonwovens and textile materials for capturing odors and volatile organic compounds.

When it comes to three-dimensional nonwovens, Pascal Denizart believes that combing will become the leading technology; spunbonded material is no longer a 2 dimensional planar structure; light, carding and hot air nonwovens will become a bright spot for future development.

RISI David Allan, the chief editor of the nonwovens market, analyzed the global hygiene market and its future development trend.

He said that the growth rate of global health textiles has slowed down, but in the next 5 years, infant diapers in the Asia Pacific region will achieve rapid growth, and the growth rate of the Chinese market will be most obvious.

Sanitary products, as daily necessities, will pay more attention to comfort, privacy, safety and environmental protection performance, as well as cost-effective.

At present, e-commerce has become the fastest growing sales channel in the market. Under the impetus of e-commerce, traditional brand health products rely on the advantages of quality and safety, the market position is still stable, and the quality of its own brand is constantly improving, and the market share has steadily improved.
