New Textile Regulations: China Spinning Standard Leads 2 ISO International Standards.

In February 1, 2016, 2 international standards ISO 17881-1:2016, "determination of certain flame retardants for textiles, first parts: brominated flame retardants" and "ISO 17881-2:2016" determination of certain flame retardants for textiles, were developed by China Textile Standard (Beijing) inspection and Certification Center Co., Ltd., second part: phosphorus flame retardant.

In the absence of international standards, the China Textile Standard took the lead in 2012 to propose a new work proposal for the establishment of an international standard for the prohibition of restricted flame retardants in textiles, which attracted the attention of all countries.

As a project lead unit, a joint trial was organized between 5 laboratories, and the WG working group meeting was successfully held in Beijing, with experts from 7 countries, including Japan, Britain, France, Italy, Switzerland and the United States.

The main technical content reached a consensus.

The project lasted four years and was officially released in 2016.

It is through spinning or fabric finishing to add flame retardants to textiles. Due to the potential health threats and environmental pollution caused by certain flame retardants, many countries, regions and organizations have issued regulations and technical standards to control the flame retardants in textiles, and there is no uniform detection method.

The issuance of the 2 ISO international standards is an important achievement of China's textile industry's substantive participation in internationalization. It further consolidates China's leading position in the field of textile ecological safety detection, and plays a positive role in promoting the internationalization of standards and technologies in the field of textile advantages and characteristics.

The general office of the Shijiazhuang municipal government issued the "Implementation Opinions on promoting the healthy and rapid development of cross-border e-commerce", pointing out that by 2017, we will strive to cultivate 30 cross border e-commerce demonstration enterprises (including 20 provincial-level demonstration enterprises), build 2 cross-border e-commerce parks, and build 2 cross-border e-commerce public overseas warehouses. The proposal put forward that every county (city) and district should combine the local industrial characteristics to build a cross border e-commerce platform actively.

In 2016 and 2017, 3 cross-border e-commerce platforms were built, of which 1 were provincial standards in 2016, and 2 were provincial standards in 2017.

In 2016 and 2017, 1 cross-border e-commerce parks were developed and reached provincial standards.
