A graduate of The Art Institute of Charlotte has recently been red, the name is Patrick Tai.

In addition to the cool stuff, even clothes do not go the same way.

It took him almost 100 hours to produce a 3D version of fashion, so it was patience.

In addition, this is the first work he completed with 3Doodler (a 3D print pen).

If you have used 3D

You will understand the magnitude of the project.

Recently, 3Doodler discovered his works. They thought Tai was amazing.

Tai said:

"My inspiration comes from geometry, modern architecture and unique materials.

I want to express my inspiration with the material of clothing. This is definitely a huge challenge.

At first, I spent a lot of time searching for fabrics, trying to find fabrics that had repetitive lines, shapes and unique textures, but failed, so I decided to make them myself at last.

After all, it is the most important thing to come up with the final design, and the empty talk is meaningless. "

In addition to 3D printed clothing, he also made many accessories.

After the success, Tai stopped and made more 3D print costumes. He also added many traditional fabric elements in the newly produced 3D print clothing.

These forward-looking costumes have also become the hearts of the North Carolina clothing association. They have become regular customers of various fashion shows and charity galas.

Tai has been working with ABS plastic when she just touched 3Doodler.

The material was about to run out just in time for 3Doodler to release the new material Flexy Doodle Strands, so he made a reservation right away.

Tai discovered this new type.

Printing material

Very much in line with his appetite, ABS became the supporting role of the new material.

In order to perfect the shape, Tai even chose to print clothes directly on the model, but later he turned to the traditional way of making.

Tai's first 3D print clothing has been a sensation in the industry.

He said: "these 3D print garments have been well received, and everywhere are flattering words. Many people are impressed by the ability of this pen."

Tai also took part in the 2015 3Doodler competition with his own works, but finally missed the prize because the brain hole was not big enough.

But in the future, Tai will continue to fight in the field of 3D printing. He is also ready to sell his works.

"I am building my own online store, which will be on a series of 3D print fashions and accessories.

I also want to invest in developing 3D printing technology in the future.

What an exciting idea awaits him.
