Kampuchea: Increasing Number Of Chinese Tourists Will Become A New "Paradise" For Luxury Goods.
At the end of last year, just before the Chinese new year, the first duty-free shop set up by China duty free group settled in Siem Reap with an area of 4500 square meters.

Because of the heavy sales of luxury goods in China, consumers are turning to overseas shopping.
Retail sales of overseas duty-free shops have become an important factor in the growth of brand sales.
The group plans to open second duty-free shops in Phnom Penh in October 2015.
The Hongkong duty-free operator DFS followed its 8000 square metre T Galleria, which will open in 2016. The Shopping Mall is located in Siem Reap, next to the National Museum, and is expected to be international.

There are more than 700 brands, including Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, and Bottega Veneta and so on.

Cambodia
Travel Chinese tourists continue to rise in forecasts and judgments.
In the first 10 months of 2014, the number of people traveling to Kampuchea increased by 21% compared with the same period last year, accounting for 12.7% of the total number of international tourists, followed by Vietnam in second place.
Most of the tourists come for vacation.
The one or two digit growth has also brought numerous attractive business opportunities to retailers.
The owners of El Luxor Hotel are also eager to follow the footsteps of Chinese tourists to Kampuchea.
In June 2014, CEO of Starwood pointed out that the company plans to expand its business in the popular destinations of Chinese tourists, while "business opportunities in Kampuchea are just right".
Due to several aircraft accidents in Malaysia, Vietnam's Anti China riots and the political situation in Thailand, the number of Chinese tourists to Southeast Asian countries in 2014 has declined.
Even the number of people traveling to Singapore also has some reactions, as tourists usually choose to bind them to destinations in Malaysia.
Kampuchea is a notable exception, and is still a good choice for Chinese tourists in the holiday resort.
