Ethiopia Cancels 10% Consumption Tax On Imported Textile Products

A new study in Ethiopia suggests that 10% of the consumption tax on imported textile products should be abolished.

The study also recommends that a separate tax rate be imposed on imported and semi-finished products to replace 35%.

The proposal was put forward after a collaborative study by the association of textile manufacturers and relevant government organizations.
