This is the 2011 China Textile and garment industry annual conference held in Beijing in June 28th. Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Association, advocated the industry.


Sun Ruizhe said that the longer the textile production goes to the upstream industry chain, the longer the production period will take 6 months. The fabric production will take 12 months, and the yarn production will take 18 months.

But the lower the downstream, the greater the pressure on consumer demand for fast consumption.

This will inevitably lead to different operation modes of the industrial chain at different ends. As the upper reaches of the industry, we must set up inventory for the normal production cycle. It is an inventory and planned production mode, and the entire production and operation capacity can be formed through this inventory.

As the downstream of the industrial chain, especially in the clothing field, it is based on the order production mode to respond quickly to the market.

Although the operation mode of textile and apparel industry chain is different from one end to another, the specific demand is different.

However, as a whole industry, the core values and overall operation laws are consistent because of interlocking, that is, the industry should pform from scale economy to value economy.


Sun Ruizhe believes that the textile industry has to make four pformations in order to pform itself. It is necessary to improve the operation efficiency of the entire supply chain system, enhance the cooperation ability of the whole supply chain, enhance the cooperation between the upstream and downstream industries, enhance the competitiveness of industries through integrated innovation, pay attention to brand building, and pay more attention to orderly competition in the whole industry.

In order to achieve orderly competition in the industry, it is very important to enhance corporate social responsibility.


The textile industry is a small and medium sized enterprise, and small and medium-sized enterprises account for more than 99%.

But the textile industry is ahead of social responsibility.

According to Sun Ruizhe, in 2005, the textile industry launched the social responsibility management system of Chinese textile enterprises. In 2008, it launched the first guidelines on social responsibility information disclosure in the domestic industry, and regulated the outline of the report on social responsibility of China's textile and garment enterprises.

Since then, many enterprises in the textile and garment industry have issued social responsibility reports. Only 44 reports were released in ~6 in January this year.

In the 44 enterprises that released social responsibility reports, 500 of the top 500 enterprises and 60% of the listed companies were listed, and non-listed company, which accounts for 41% of the total, is also actively disclosing the social responsibility information. This shows that the information integrity and pparency are gradually being implemented.


In the past few years, the textile and garment industry has issued the social responsibility. The enthusiasm of the brands and retailers has been very high. A very encouraging change in China is that the enterprises that release social responsibility information are extending upstream.

Now the entire textile and garment industry is not only publishing the social responsibility with the enterprises closely related to the consumers, but also reporting the social responsibility report by the whole industry chain, including the upstream enterprises.

Sun Ruizhe also expressed his regret, that is, the industries with larger environmental impact, such as printing and dyeing, chemical fiber and other industries, need to increase the number of enterprises reporting social responsibility reports.
