Kerrie&Nbsp; Luft&Nbsp; 2011 Autumn Winter Footwear Design

"I created a computer technology high heel shoe, which was previously only found in aerospace and dental industry. I used 3D technology to create a layered titanium shoe heel. I happened to see the whole process in a university. It made me realize the potential of shoes, so I used this technology to give streamlined design and elegance to shoes."

Kerrie Luft started her career at the University College of Northampton, inspired by the richest shoe making heritage in the town. She decided to display her shoes in the most famous fashion schools in London. Jimmy Choo and Nicholas Kirkwood were born in this school. Then Kerrie Luft was also apprenticeship with the French footwear brand Roger Vivier for 6 months.

She told us: "I like the idea of integrating new technologies with nature, and everything has fascinated me, and these inspirations from nature can inspire me. I also like to see architecture. As many designers use architecture in design, I like to design home appliances and architecture in my works. Shoes become more interesting because of their 3D structure. They even have more architectural sense than fashion.

Today, the goal of Kerrie Luft is to set up a small luxury brand of her own. She wants to be an innovative person.
