EU Anti-Dumping

In June 10th, the word "loss is a blessing" has been used by many people around us. It should be said that there are some golden mean. Therefore, such abandonment is more in line with our current educational situation and has been widely circulated and become a Chinese flavor. Similarly, for this level, Chinese shoe enterprises also have a very persistent attitude in many aspects, pursuing the realm of "blessing" and "disaster".

Chinese enterprises face Europe's "closed door"

In January 2000, the reconsideration application filed by the Holland PHILPS company against the dumping of color TV sets by the Chinese color TV enterprises in the European Union was formally accepted by the European Commission. The European Commission then launched anti-dumping investigations on Chinese color TV enterprises, involving 6 custom made products of more than 50 color TV enterprises in China. In March, Xiamen Hua electronics company formally submitted the complaint, becoming the first official respondent enterprise in the domestic appliance industry.

In February 13, 2002, according to the application of 4 companies such as the American company, the American bearing association filed an anti-dumping complaint against Chinese ball bearings on the ground that the sales of Chinese bearings were lower than the normal export prices in the US market. In April 9, 2003, the United States announced that the dumping case of Chinese ball bearing was not established, and it was closed in the form of "zero damage". This marks the first anti-dumping suit in the United States after China formally entered the WTO and ended with the victory of the Chinese respondent enterprise.

In May 2002, two Steel Corp in China won the ultimate victory in the US anti-dumping investigation. After a year long investigation, the US Department of Commerce ruled on two anti-dumping cases, and separately ruled that Ma'anshan Steel Corp and Weifang steel tube company did not dump their steel products into the US market. In the anti-dumping case, the first batch of Chinese companies passed the entire investigation in the United States and received the zero price difference of dumping.

In 2003, the Chinese lighters enterprises won the first case of EU anti-dumping. In June 2002, the European Union launched an anti-dumping investigation on the complete export of a single (plastic case) lighter to China. A total of 15 enterprises in China jointly put forward an "industrial non injury defense" to the European Union. After strict verification by the European Union, the anti-dumping investigation on Chinese lighters was terminated in 2003. This is the first case of Chinese enterprises winning the EU anti-dumping after China's accession to the world trade organization. This is also the first case of China's small and medium enterprises anti-dumping.

In September 17, 2004, violence in Chinese shoe shops burned in the Spanish city of Elche, the first shoe city in Europe. This is the most serious violence in Spain, which has violated the legitimate interests of Chinese businessmen. This is considered to be a microcosm of Chinese goods encountering trade frictions overseas.

Data show that the rate of responding to the anti-dumping investigation cases involving the United States and the European Union has reached 100%, which was zero before 1994. It is this positive attitude that has earned the enterprise its own interests.

In many European "closed door" events, China Shoe enterprises In fact, the performance is very different. Anti-dumping It is also affected by the impact, which has shaken the whole Chinese shoe enterprises. However, the "overseas trade friction" incident still sounded the alarm for Chinese shoe enterprises, because such incidents reflected the survival of Chinese shoes in the world, and the Chinese system, which had always won the low price, had successfully entered every corner of the world, but it did not mean that Chinese shoes were not excluded.

   Wonderful already set out

According to Spain American Apparel and Footwear Association According to statistics, from 2000 to 2009, the total number of shoes imported from Spain increased from 80 million 90 thousand pairs to nearly 326 million pairs. In 2009, 73.2% of Spain's imported shoes came from China. Against this background, some bankrupt factory owners and unemployed workers vent their anger on shoes from China. But "those unpleasant experiences are over, instead of the wisdom displayed by both sides in the face of difficulties. This wisdom is called cooperation". It is obvious that the Chinese shoe companies have abandoned their past grievances. The spirit of "loss" has changed the status of Chinese shoes in Spain and changed the attitude of the world to embrace Chinese shoes.
