Ellesse was founded by fashion expert Leonardo Servadio in Perugia, Italy in 1959.

Based on his love for skiing, he made him in six and 70s twentieth Century.

Because of this spirit of innovation, ellesse specially hosted the "sports and city" online photo competition and won the full support of Lonely Planet.

The competition is a global activity. We invite ellesse customers, photographers and bloggers to highlight their unique city by shooting any sports activities, and record the wonderful and unforgettable moments of life in the changing environment.

Mike Stopforth, executive director of ellesse, said: "we not only look forward to daily sports reports, but also want to see a picture that can really capture a city's spirit and feelings."

This photography competition has 3 basic principles -- sports, style and originality.

We are looking forward to creating an online City Gallery inspired by ellesse, and our customers are also the protagonists.

The four winners will eventually be appointed by the panel of experts.

One of the experts has chosen and will have the opportunity to travel to one of the four European cities (London, Barcelona, Rome and Athens). Winners can win a brand new digital single lens reflex camera to record their trip.
