Leather Shoes And Shoelaces

According to the Taiwan Zhongguang news network, archaeologists found a pair of leather shoes estimated to be five thousand and five hundred years old in a cave in a mountain in Armenia, a central Asian country. This is the oldest leather shoe that has been discovered so far.

The well preserved leather shoes are made of a whole piece of leather, with shoelaces decorated on the toe and back of the shoe. There are traces of human habitation and activity in the cave.

It was discovered that the pair of shoes was an archaeological team in Ireland. The head of the research group described the discovery as if it were in lotto. Most of the archaeologists found broken bowls and broken pots. Through these daily appliances, it is not easy to have a deep understanding of human life in ancient times, for example, what they eat, what activities and clothes to wear, and the discovery of leather shoes make people imagine the ancient society more concretely.

Before that, the oldest leather shoes discovered by archaeological research were worn by ice man Ozzy. Ice man Ozzy was discovered nine years ago in the glacier of the Alps. Experts analyzed that he lived five thousand and one hundred to more than 5300 years ago, that is the Neolithic age.
