Zhuo Tek Mexico Factory Successfully Put Acrylic Precursors And Carbonized Fibers Into Operation.

Fjall Taco (ZOLTEK) recently reported that the Mexico factory began to successfully put acrylic precursors and carbonized fibers into operation. The goal of the company is to achieve the strategic goal of commercial production of carbonized fibers, because carbonized fibers are widely used in building materials.

Fjall Taco bought the textile acrylic plant in Guadalajara province of Mexico in October 2007.

Thanks to the efforts of the company's management experts and engineering experts, the factory has started producing acrylic precursors, and the factory has installed four continuous carbonization production lines.

The Mexico plant is now able to meet the growth of the company's main demand for wind power and other large new business applications.

Zhuo teke estimates that the Mexico plant can eventually produce 60000 tons of precursor material annually, supporting more than 27000 tons of carbonized fiber production, according to the current high-performance commercial carbonated fiber price calculation, the output value of more than 600 million U. S. dollars.

The company is optimistic about the outlook for 2009 and beyond.

The company believes that sales will reach US $500 million by 2011.
