Burma Leather Export

Burma's leather industry is facing an extremely difficult period due to reduced demand and falling prices in the international market. Since the outbreak of the financial crisis, the wholesale price of leather has fallen by 50%.

Many leather sales companies in Mandy had to choose to cut prices because prices and demand almost fell at the same time.

Unfortunately, this bad situation will continue.

In the main leather market of Mandy, the price of raw leather has a record drop. A sheep skin has dropped from 3600 yuan to 1500 yuan, and a goat skin has dropped from 2700 yuan to 700 yuan.

The cowhide dropped from 1.6 kilograms /2600 yuan to 1.6 kilograms /500 yuan Burma.

Since China began buying a lot of raw skins in Burma in 2000, imports have almost stagnated, accelerating the decline in the price of raw leather.

Mander Rein is famous for making leather products. It is the peak season for sales from September to February, but this year is far behind the previous years.

After the Olympic Games, buyers seem to disappear and prices drop.

The chairman of the Burma Federation of animal products said that we are consulting with the exporters. Under the condition of low market demand, it is important to stabilize a reasonable export price.
